St. Anne’s has an all courant, fully equipped physics laboratory to introduce the students of classes IX and above to the wonderful world of physical experimentation. Its main objective is to inculcate scientific temperament in students and encourage practical learning. The lab is brightly lit and well ventilated.

The laboratory has a dark room for experiments requiring no external light source. It also comprises regularly used instruments for the syllabus based experiments along with special and exclusive instruments.

The spacious and well ventilated Chemistry Laboratory has a capacity of 50 students. It comprises a comprehensive assortment of chemicals and equipments required upto class XII. A proper chemical disposal unit makes the lab eco- friendly and safe to use.

Though the junior students work under a guided schedule, the seniors can carry out experiments that can go beyond the prescribed syllabus. This not only leads to the learning of scientific concepts, but also helps in developing a scientific attitude.

The spacious and well equipped Biology Laboratory is a suitable place for experiment and projects into life processes. The paraphernalia comprises sophisticated apparatus, specimens and chemicals. In order to substantiate theory there are charts models and slides that can be viewed under the simple and compound microscopes. Blood testing equipment is also available. The array of specimens help them to understand and appreciate the diversity of the living world. The charts and models help the students to visualize biological discoveries and processes that have revolutionized human life.

“The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated but to make complicated things simple.”

The idea and purpose of the mathematics lab is to help the students to develop mathematical skills by offering multiple teaching and learning aids to visualize mathematics. The activities carried out to explore the world of numbers and figures inculcate a favorable perspective towards mathematics in the students.

The mathematics lab gives the students an opportunity to verify the validity of the mathematical truths under the teacher’s supervision. It explain mathematics as “a poetry of logical ideas’ and also motivates the students to explore the concepts and find new ways to deal with and solve a problem.

The heart of ST. ANNE'S technical work is made up of the three computer laboratories-Senior lab, junior lab and Teacher’s lab. The students are groomed to face the tough challenge of the world of computers they will have to face later on. Some of the skills taught to the senior secondary and secondary classes are: Java on Netbeans, C++ Programming, My SQL, HTML, XML, Networking concepts, MS Office , Photo-editing, Movie making and so on. The students of the Middle School enjoys learning Power point presentation, Programming in QBasic, general information on MS Office. And juniors are initiated into computers through Paint, MS Office, LOGO (introductory) and Wordpad among others. More emphasis is towards using the freeware softwares ( Java, Netbeans, C++, OpenOffice, Qbasic etc.) and Operating system ( BOSS, Ubuntu version Of Lynux).

The senior secondary curriculum offers two subject choices for the students in computers – Computer Science and Information Practices. The students are made to work on various projects right from class IX onwards. The students also participate in various competitions to show there prowess.
