The Investiture Ceremony
A new academic year and a fresh restart to the conventional way of education...
St. Anne's School's yearly custom of recognition and acknowledgement of a new batch of students to shoulder responsibilities with dignity and integrity renews after the pandemic as the investiture ceremony, 2022-23 took place on Monday, 25th April to teach students the importance of taking and fulfilling responsibilities to the best of their abilities as they enter into what can be deemed the most crucial year of their school life.
The ceremony started with the Principal Sir and Nimmi Ma'am awarding the badges to the office bearers. This was followed by an oath taking wherein the office bearers and the prefects pledged to uphold the values of the school and work with honesty and goodwill.
The Head Girl, in her speech, emphasized that good leaders must help others better themselves and work to inspire and help those around them.
After almost 2 years of the E-education way, this is a quintessential step to boost the morale of the students, make them realise their potential and mark the re-beginning of the normal, much-missed way of schooling.
In today's world, the presence of good leadership is indispensable and this event provided young leaders a chance to work for the good of the school, motivate their fellow students and make their institution proud.
