ANNUAL SPORTS MEET OF MIDDLE SCHOOL 2023-24
'A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’ and for a healthy body games and sports are mandatory. Sports teach discipline, respect, friendship, leadership, resilience, team work and overcoming adversity. It is a crucial part of students' growth and development. A good school aims to improve its students' physical abilities and help them learn a sense of good sportsmanship.
On 9th February,2024, St. Anne's school held its 30th Annual Sports Meet at Gaushala Maidan. It was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, teamwork and unbridled enthusiasm. The event commenced with the Vice Principal Mrs. Tessy Joseph declaring the annual sports meet open, followed by a zealous and active participation of VI to VIII students in various track and field sports like- long distance races, exhilarating relay races ball balancing and diya races, tug-of- war etc. The air was charged with the spirit of competition and the sports teachers had also put in a great effort to make it a success.
Trophies, medals and certificate were awarded to the champions and cheers of encouragement and appreciation resounded throughout the venue.
