Teachers' Day celebration.
It is said that the quality of a nation depends on the quality of education imparted, and the quality of education depends on its teachers, who are the backbone of any nation. Teachers shape the future by nurturing young minds, instilling values, and fostering a love for learning. The teachers act as mentors providing support and guidance during students' academic journey.
To show their gratitude and appreciation towards these tireless workers the students of the middle section of St. Anne's Senior Secondary School celebrated 'Teachers' Day' on 4th September 2024. The celebration began with invoking the blessings of Lord Almighty, followed by HariKriti Rathore's informative speech paying a tribute to the first Vice President and the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a distinguished scholar and a renowned teacher. Moving on, Diana Soni recited a beautiful and enthralling Hindi poem. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Tessey Joseph then invited all the teachers to come forward for the 'tilak ceremony' and the students of classes 6th 7th and 8th welcomed their teachers with a thunderous applause. The students presented the teachers with laboriously, hand-crafted cards and bouquets as a token of reverence and gratitude for their guidance and support.
The celebration concluded with a sense of appreciation, inspiring everyone to continue cherishing and honouring the role of teachers in our lives.
