SCIENCE QUIZ, CLASS- X (2024-25)

On 18th November, the science quiz was organized in the school auditorium for the students of class X. The students were divided into 8 groups, one for each class. Each group consisted of three students, selected through a preliminary round.
The quiz was divided into 7 different rounds of varying difficulty and structure; carefully curated by the quiz masters, Taruna Ma’am, Liza Ma’am and Bharat Sir to challenge the young minds. The quiz began with the Warm Up Round, and by the end of the second round i.e. the Multiple-Choice Round, the contestants were ready for further challenges. Engaging question were then asked in the Textbook Round, which was followed by the Reasoning Round ‘Explain Why’, which included questions that forced the students to link logic with theory and application. Visual round was complete with engaging audio-visuals of groundbreaking scientific discoveries and their discoverers. The students showed enthusiastic participation in the audience round and helped their respective teams increase their scores. Lastly, the deciding round of the quiz, which could make or break the scores, was the Rapid-Fire Round. Each team was to answer 8 questions in 60 seconds, in which TEAM G managed to answer every question correctly.
After a fierce battle between 24 young and curious minds, class 10-G (TEAM F) emerged victorious with a score of 135 points, closely followed by class 10-C (TEAM G). After a tie breaker between class 10-F and class 10-B, class 10-F (TEAM D) managed to secure the third position.
