"An award is not the destination; it is a reminder that your journey has been seen, valued, and respected, because recognition does not just create greatness; rather, it reveals the greatness that perseverance has already built.” These words aptly set the tone for the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony (Academics) organised by St. Anne's Senior Secondary School, Jodhpur, on 24th April, 2026 in the school auditorium.

The occasion was graced by Dr. Aarti Kothari, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at JIET Medical College, Jodhpur, and a distinguished alumna of the institution.

The programme commenced with the formal welcome of the chief guest, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Students of Classes VI to VIII were felicitated with certificates and books for Academic Excellence. In keeping with the school’s holistic ethos, awards were also conferred for Proficiency in Academics, Exemplary Conduct, and Special Effort.

The ceremony effectively underscored the importance of meaningful recognition in education. By honouring not only achievement but also perseverance, improvement, and creativity, the institution reinforces positive attitudes and inspires students to value consistent effort and growth over comparison.

In her address, the chief guest acknowledged the pivotal role of her schooling in shaping her values, discipline, and professional outlook. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Tessy Joseph, followed by warm applause and congratulations for all the awardees. The ceremony stood as a dignified celebration of merit and endeavour, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing excellence through sustained effort and purposeful learning.
